Our Story

A Passion That Started Young

My love for baking began in my teenage years. I was always fascinated by creating beautiful cakes and seeing how something sweet could bring so much joy to people. What started as a hobby soon became a lifelong journey.

After moving to Canada, my passion for baking grew even stronger. While exploring different career paths, I realized that my heart was always in the kitchen and started making custom cakes from home, turning my passion into something I could share with others.

Building a Dream Together

My husband became my biggest supporter. He believed in my dream as much as I did, and together we took the next step—opening Alagh’s Cakes & Café. What began in a small home kitchen grew into a family business built on love, hard work, and dedication.

Quality Has Never Changed

Although we’ve grown, our values haven’t. Every cake we create today receives the same attention to detail, care, and craftsmanship that went into every cake I made from home. We believe that quality should never be compromised, no matter how much a business grows.

Located in Brampton, we have two pickup options for you to choose from as per your convenience. We have different types of cakes available, both those that are pre-made for any occasion and customized cakes according to your choice of themes and designs.

Our flavour range brings together classic favourites like black forest and red velvet, in addition to South Asian inspired flavors including gulab jamun, rasmalai, and Mango. All the flavors mentioned above are prepared considering the rich culture and ethnicity of the lovely community of Brampton that we serve.
